Changing Language Settings on a Creative MP3 Player

Changing Language Settings on a Creative MP3 Player
Keywords / Key Phrases: language settings, menu language

Summary:

  • Creative MP3 players can display their navigation menu as well as music track information in multiple languages. The menu language option can typically be accessed via the Menu button, or Scroller (scroll select wheel) depending on the player.

To change the menu language on a player that has control pad / buttons instead of a scroller wheel such as our Flash MP3 players like MuVo:

  1. Tap on the Menu option or select the button control for main menu
  2. Select System
  3. Select Language and choose your language of your choice

If the menu language on this type of player was changed to a language that you don't understand, you can access the player's Recovery Mode to change the settings in the player back to default.

While in the recovery mode, run the Clean Up option and then Reboot the player. It will reset the menu language to factory default.

If you have a ZEN Sleek player and the menu is is a language that you don't understand, press the Menu key on your player till you get to the main MENU, select the last option available. In the next page select the fifth option counting from the first selected., and then select your language.
